How to Use Zorcha’s ‘Ask for a Follow’ Feature to Grow Instagram Followers Organically

Growing Instagram followers is one of the biggest challenges for content creators today. While engagement on posts and reels is easier to earn, converting that engagement into actual followers often requires manual effort or repeated prompts.

To help creators grow their audience organically, Zorcha has launched a new Instagram automation feature called Ask for a Follow. This feature allows creators to automatically encourage non-followers to follow their account before receiving a DM, making it easier to turn comments into long-term audience growth.

In this blog, we’ll explain what the Ask for a Follow feature is, how it works, and how creators can use it to grow Instagram followers more effectively.

What Is the Ask for a Follow Feature in Zorcha?

The "Ask for a Follow" feature in Zorcha lets creators set up an Instagram automation that sends a personalised message to users who comment on their posts or reels only if the user follows them.

How to Grow Instagram Followers Using Zorcha’s Ask for a Follow Feature?

Step 1: Log in to the Zorcha Dashboard

Step 2: Go to Automations from the Left Menu

Step 3: Create a New Automation

Step 4: Choose the Automation Type (Comment to DM, Story to DM, or DM to DM)

Step 5: Select the Instagram Post or Reel

Step 6: Set the Comment Keyword Trigger

Step 7: Configure the Message and Link

Step 8: Enable and Customize the Opening Message

Step 9: Enable and Customize the Ask for a Follow Message

Step 10: Go Live and Start Converting Comments into Followers

Now whenever someone comments the keyword on the user's reel/post, Zorcha will first check if the user is following the creator or not. If the user is following then directly the DM will go. Else, first this message will go, and then only when the user has followed and clicked on ‘I am following’ the DM will go.

Hope this feature helps you achieve your follower goals this year!
